Earth Switch

ME Type cells use two types of earth switches.

ME16kA type earth switch; is used in cells where earth switch is required. Class of the type that can be closed 5 times on the short circuit (16kA): BEL independent control (on closing)

MEZKA type earth switch, “load disconnecting fuse compound”, is used on the load side under the fuse in transformer protection cells. Type that can be closed 5 times on the short circuit (2KA) Hand independent control (on closing)
